A little clarity, every day.

Mausm makes Indian weather easier to read. Start with your city, see the hours ahead, and compare today with tomorrow.

Where the forecast comes from

Our forecasts use Open-Meteo, which combines numerical weather models from meteorological agencies. Current conditions are model estimates, not a live reading from a weather station at your address. Data is provided under CC BY 4.0; Mausm formats it into charts and plain-language summaries.

What the numbers mean

Rain percentages describe forecast precipitation probability. Daily rain chance is the maximum hourly probability for that day. Rainfall is the forecast daily total in millimetres. Wind is in kilometres per hour. All forecast times use India Standard Time.

Hourly data does not predict exactly when rain will begin on your street. Longer-range forecasts are more uncertain. The update time is shown on every forecast; older cached data is labelled when used.

Official warnings

Mausm is an independent service and is not affiliated with the India Meteorological Department. Direct IMD warning integration is not yet active. Please consult IMD for official weather warnings and severe-weather guidance.

Coverage

Our first release covers 30 Indian cities in English and Hindi. Location access selects the nearest supported city, rather than generating a forecast for your exact address.
