Mausm does not require an account. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the weather service and how advertising and analytics providers may use data.

Your preferences

Saved cities, your selected language and your last selected city are stored locally in your browser. You can remove them by clearing your browser’s site data.

Location

The homepage checks your last selected city first, then may use an approximate city supplied by Vercel from your IP address. Precise browser location is used only after you select the location button or have already granted location permission. Coordinates are used to choose a nearby supported city and are not stored in the Mausm database. Location responses are not shared or cached between visitors.

Analytics

Mausm uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the service. Google Analytics may process information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, approximate location and interactions. It may use cookies or similar technologies. Browser settings, consent choices and content blockers can limit this collection.

Advertising and cookies

Mausm uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies in your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to collect information as a result of ads being served on this site.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to Mausm and/or other sites on the internet. You can control or opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. You may also use AboutAds choices to manage participating vendors.

Consent choices

Where required, advertising consent choices are managed through Google’s certified consent tools. Their availability depends on the consent message configured for Mausm in Google AdSense. Browser settings and content blockers may also limit cookies and similar storage.

Service providers

The website is hosted on Vercel, and weather infrastructure runs on AWS. These providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and technical logs to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. Weather forecasts come from Open-Meteo, and air-quality information may use CPCB/data.gov.in and CAMS/Copernicus sources as described on the About and data page.

Sharing

Sharing sends the forecast link to the app you choose. If native sharing is unavailable, the link may be copied to your clipboard.
